Here is a challenge from someone at YouTube.com:
Answer: In Mark 16:12 we read: "After that, He appeared in a different form to two of them while they were walking along on their way to the country."
As we can see from the above verse Jesus appeared in another form and not in His original form after He rose again from the dead. This, so that the disciples do not lose faith. He will definitely answer our prayers but our prayers must be according to God's will. And it is not in His will to destroy our faith. Moreover this faculty of faith or placing our trust in someone especially in God who is in the form of the invisible spirit, is a virtue. And God wants to see who has this virtue or who exercises it best. Therefore God does not appear to us. But there will be a Day called the Judgment Day when we will see Christ face to face but then it will be too late to exercise our virtues. Those who did not exercise their faith will lose the opportunity to please God because without faith it is impossible to please God (Hebrews 11:6). The doors to the kingdom of heaven will be closed for them forever. They will have to pay for their deeds with the Baptism of Fire (John 5:29).
