Dear President Bush,
SUBJECT: Root cause for Anti-Americanism in the World today
Greetings in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, Savior and Example!
It has been quite a while since i wrote you last from India. It is a pity that when you have tried your best, there is a rise in anti-American sentiment both within and without the United States. As your and America's well-wisher, i have tried to analyze the root cause for this. Let's face it, these wars we are fighting first of all have religious underpinnings.
While Koran teaches to kill Christians, there is something intrinsic on our side as well that we have to consider. It is the phenomenon of "licentiousness" in the name of "grace & liberty." Instead of preaching that there is greater punishment for sinning (transgressing the Law) awaiting those who are in the covenant of grace (Hebrews 10:26-29; Luke 12:47-48), today's preachers are giving the Church, a license to sin (Jude 4). This is breading hatred and bitterness among the Gentiles who are striving to please God by their good behavior. Moreover they are neither able to understand grace nor able to receive it because the false teachers of the Law are preaching a law contrary to that which God has written on their hearts (Romans 2:14,15). And since you are the representative of the lawless community, you are getting the brunt of it.
So dear President Bush, according to the measure of grace given to you for governance, STOP THESE LICENSORS before they bring about the downfall of America. The goodwill that America has around the world with which it is able to influence other nations has to be strengthened.
May the riches of God's grace rest on you! Amen!
In Christ's love,
i remain your servant,
Caleb Suresh Motupalli
