Is God Humble?

My son Clay says, "Yes, of course God is humble. Since He is humble, He created those who are humble."

Well, let's take a closer look. Some say that Phil 2:3-8
Quote:
Do nothing from selfishness or empty conceit, but with humility of mind regard one another as more important than yourselves; do not merely look out for your own personal interests, but also for the interests of others. Have this attitude in yourselves which was also in Christ Jesus, who, although He existed in the form of God, did not regard equality with God a thing to be grasped, but emptied Himself, taking the form of a bond-servant, and being made in the likeness of men. Being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself by becoming obedient to the point of death, even death on a cross.

shows that we are all equal like the three in the trinity. The Father humbles Himself with respect to the Son and the Son humbles Himself with respect to the Father. Wrong!

As i have said elsewhere, when Christ said, “regard each other as brothers and sisters,” His intention was that we, who are in authority, should cultivate a servant's heart as we serve. It is not intended for those who are being served to usurp this authority.

The Father was already supreme. And in entrusting all judgment to the Son, He did humble Himself. As for the Son, He was higher than all the angles. But when He found Himself with the appearance of man, He humbled Himself w.r.t the angles and w.r.t other men to the point of not only accepting manhood but also the death on the cross.

Lord: "Leave! For she is only sleeping..."
