ARCHITECTING
A BIBLICAL MINI PARADISE
June
24, 2005
Dear Faith
Fellow in Christ of the church of St. Kitts and Nevis:
Greetings
in the name of our Lord Yeshua who blessed the poor in spirit
with the kingdom of heaven!
This letter
is going to every Shepherd of God in St. Kitts and Nevis. My apologies
if i have missed out anybody's name.
Allow me to
introduce myself first. My name is Caleb Motupalli, a native of
India, born to Hindu parents. I was born-again in 1977 but it
was only in America when hell broke loose on me in the year of
1989 that this prodigal son surrendered his life to the Lord.
Upon a call confirmed from the living God, i became His servant
resigning from work as a Software Engineer with a secular company.
Today i am involved in freelancing for the churches to bring them
together. The gift of miracles, silver and gold i do not have,
but what i do have i give you.
Men of God
like Brother C. R. Golsworthy of Australia and Brother K. Phillip
of India have acknowledged: "How is there to be the proof,
the demonstration, the evidence, the final establishment of the
fact that Jesus is alive from the dead, and is Lord (of all)?
It is by the triumphant expression of His LIFE in HIS OWN"-that
devil-conquering, flesh-conquering, world-conquering, and finally
death-conquering testimony of the resurrected or born-again ones.
No amount of thumping on the pulpit by itself will yield anything.
The Gospel train should run on two tracks: one of walk and the
other of talk.
The author
of Hebrews does not stop at verse 13:15 that speaks of the offering
of the fruit of our lips, but goes on to verse 16 that speaks
of not neglecting to do good and to share.
Christ has taught us the ministry of costly caring. Therefore,
i believe we should not relegate the Care Ministries to outsiders.
Let us take up the Care Ministry as part and parcel of our living
expression (testimony). Our God is a great and awesome God with
unlimited power and resources. So as Christians, we should be
the world's greatest dreamers. As ambassadors of Christ and as
actually gods (see 2 Cor. 5:20; Jn. 10:35) we are to bless the
poor in spirit with the kingdom of heaven (paradise). Let us not
think of being served, but strive to serve the helpless and powerless
(poor-in-spirit) with the ultimate-paradise!
Sure, Martha
was wrong to have gone headlong into a works ministry doing her
own will with her own might. But Mary could be committing a more
grievous sin-the sin of omission-if she neglects to do good and
to share, after hearing the will of the Lord, even being equipped
with the Holy Spirit with whom all things are possible (Hebrews
13:16; Matt. 19:26). The Lord's will is found in John 13:34-35;
17:20-24-that we love one another, just as He loved us, and that
we, together with the poor-in-spirit be united and be present
where Christ-corporate is blessedly present. "That servant
who knew his master's will, and did not prepare himself or do
according to his will, shall be beaten with many stripes. But
he who did not know, yet committed things deserving of stripes,
shall be beaten with few. For everyone to whom much is given,
from him much will be required; and to whom much has been committed,
of him they will ask the more" (Luke 12:47,48 NKJV).
Now you may
say that we should do good but not "sound a trumpet"
to be seen by others. No doubt! We should not be like the hypocrites
who do good for appearances only to get a benefit in return. But
did not our Lord say, "Let your light (talk of love) so shine
before men, that they may see your good works (walk of love) and
glorify your Father in heaven!" (Matthew 5:16 paraphrased)
To serve others
with paradise, we need to prudently organize and unite ourselves.
And only then can two chase a ten thousand and architect a paradise
for the poor-in-spirit. God Himself acknowledges that when we
are united, nothing will be impossible for us (Gen. 11:6). Moreover,
we have Christ in us through whom all things are possible. Our
unity was at the very heart of our Lord's prayer. The whole world
will believe that Yeshua was sent from God when we are one (John
17:21). He places servants in-charge of His whole household (Matt.
24:45) perhaps for that very purpose of unity, since visible unity
is achieved with a representative head. It is not in the desired
will of God that we form our own little empires. It is the empire
of Christ--the kingdom of God--that we should be seeking after.
Others have labored and we should enter into their labors, so
that both he who sows and he who reaps may rejoice together, when
we gather fruit for eternal life. Though he is not a true representative
of Christ-corporate, the Pope is the moral voice of restraint
in the world today and serves to bring the Church together. Properly
elected by Christ-corporate on the merit of being the servant
of all, it is through the Pope, a testimony is lifted up and macroscopic
top-down evangelism (anointing) takes place, even as we lift up
our own testimonies like the testimony at St. Kitts & Nevis
in the name of Christ and microscopic bottom-up evangelism (anointing)
takes place, so that everyone may see and believe and have eternal
life confirmed to them corporately (1 Cor. 3:16) as well as individually
(1 Cor. 6:19).
Once visible
unity is achieved, we have to shoot for work unity. Spiritual
unity, by the way, is initially available only among the constituent
seven branches. Now to house a united working Church, auditoriums
and the like are not sufficient-they are for mere spectators.
We need a better work-environment so that work can go on in a
concerted fashion. Fundamentally, we have to structure ourselves
in such a way that we can be doers of the Word and not hearers
only. Furthermore, we have to be structured to be not mere doers
only but doers-in-concert! Doers-in-concert for the specific purpose
of bringing the rule of the kingdom of heaven upon every heart
on earth. That is, to prove that Christ is Lord of all.
I am suggesting
here to form a cooperative society with all the churches involved
under the laws of St. Kitts and Nevis government. The larger task
for the Cooperative is to architect the micro-paradise. To that
end and as part of the Care Ministry, the lesser task is to provide
a socio-economic solution to the St. Kitts and Nevis sugar cane
industry which has taken a beating for the past several years
even with subsidies from the European Union. Today, even those
subsidies are no longer available. So let us address these issues
with our walk of love.
If somebody
questions us and asks, "Why is the Church trying to get involved
in the secular," let us answer: "Christ is Lord of the
week days as well. We are co-laboring with God who is in us, to
build the New Jerusalem, a city which is ALL temple!"
May the good
Lord grant us wisdom, courage and strength to undertake this task
in corporate faith. Amen!
In Christ,
Bro. Caleb
Motupalli.
